So our Bean Bandit friends lent us one of their nice bowls, we thought we'd return it along with one of our favorite recipes...



We even figured we would Plastic Wrap it for 'em, just to make sure it stayed nice and fresh!

The Bean Bandits

It all started last Friday night when I got a knock on the door followed by someone running down the outside stairs. When I looked out the peep hole I found:



This occurred every night until last night when the "Bean Bandits" revealed themselves!

Week 8

Elsa's first snow!





We wake up to this face most mornings...aren't we lucky!!!

The Great Salt Lake

With only a week left till we leave, decent weather, and snow in the forecast for the rest of the week, we had to jump on the chance to take a trip to the Great Salt Lake. What kind of Utahans would we be if we never went in the almost 4 years of living 15 minutes away from it. Alex had already been when his Mom and brother Andrew were here right after E was born. E and I skipped out on the trip so Alex really wanted to take us.

It was a beautiful Fall day and our friend Emily called to see if we wanted to take some pictures of both our kids. So we headed over and hung out with Brooks and Emily. We got some awesome pictures of both the babies. Here are some great shots of Elsa. Thanks again Emily!

Week 7

We got ourselves a kicker and a wiggler!

Elsa's newest thing to have play time on the floor. She will get mad if you pick her up. She has become Miss Independent wanting to hang out talking, wiggling, kicking, and looking around.

Now the story behind the picture:

Elsa and I went to Orem yesterday to visit Kassidi and Hazel. We were getting ready to head out to get some things for our Halloween costumes but decided I better feed E first. These days E has been a bit of a fussy eater, eating really fast and not very much but to my surprise nursed really well and for pretty long. I burped her only getting a small burp. I should of known better cause I can usually get some pretty loud noises out of her. I go ahead and strap her in her car seat and head out to the van. As soon as I click it in she starts to throw up and I mean throw up....none of your everyday baby spit up! It was one of the saddest sights. The poor girl, she got it everywhere- all over her clothes, hair, car seat, etc! So we headed back inside for clean up and a bath. I learned my lesson about putting a freshly fed baby into a car seat without getting a big burp out first! Thanks to Kassidi and Hazel(she was quite the helper) for your help in a very dirty job!

week 6

Hands down the best (and cutest) burrito in town!



We've been trying to get a video of E for a while now of her talking and squirming. This is the best we could get but we'll keep trying! oh and Sorry about the video-not sure how to turn it. If you know please share!

Friends

Elsa had a fun play-date with our friends little boy Brooks.







We don't have the picture of this happening to Brooks, but as you can tell by Elsa's face (below), they were about done for the day. Right after his picture was taken, E turned toward Brooks returned the gesture by shoving her hand and face in his face. He didn't like it and gave us a look very comparable to how Elsa looks here.
