Nothing is safe anymore....

She can now take trash out of the trashcan, clear off E's desk in about 2 seconds, tears paper to shreds, crawls as fast as she can when she hears the dishwasher & fridge open and will climb right in if you're not quick to shut them!

Oh and note to self, no matter how well behaved your 3 year old is, don't leave them alone in a room with flour for too long.....

It started out with her just wanting to "make cookies" and was sifting flour.
But then....

I left for a few minutes to take care of Lucy and came back to this...

Of course it could of been way worse! Those messes are the most fun and it was worth it, she had all kinds of fun "baking."

This and That

(Elsa- 8 months)                                        (Lucy 9 months)

Both girls love to look at the cats out the door at my parents house. They were just kittens when E was that small. Lucy was wearing those jammies just earlier that morning. Thought this was a fun comparison.

Another one of E's masterpieces- a family. I especially love the glasses and the baby she drew!

E told us this play dough person was Uncle Royce and that he was a cowboy. Complete with a hat, boots, and belt!

 Cute E

Lucy devoured this cracker in about 10 seconds!

Elsa the reindeer

Lucy really likes this blinking snowman, but so far hasn't shown any interest in the tree. I am hopng we luck out and don't have to put the cage around it.

 Darcy likes the tree too

I knew that one day I would be glad I had a gazillion Christmas books. E is loving them all.

Her little nativity is still her favorite.

Will be fun to see how Darcy likes going out in the snow

Dinosaur Park and some Elsa stuff

We had a beautiful day on Saturday, so we decided to head to the park. E picked the Dinosaur Park. She talks about this park ever since she went there with Grandpa during her weekend stay with them.

Lucy girl loves the swings

E gets a little braver each time we go to the park. I was actually surprised she climbed up this all alone. She is a pretty cautious 3 year old!

Lucy actually examined this leaf for a few minutes before trying to eat it!

E was showing us her tap dancing skills!

E really likes to draw people. I was getting ready to put Lucy down for a nap, and asked E to draw a picture for Julia and Grams for their birthdays. This is what she did.

She also drew about 10 other people. I love that she added glasses for grams and the knees! She also for some reason made them crying and with owies.

E goes to Story time at the library each week. Its just for kids- no parents allowed in the room. They do books, crafts, songs, etc. One week we got home and all she would talk about was how creepy carrots were following us. She talked about these creepy carrots all the time. I asked her about them but still had no idea where it was coming from. While she is in Story time, I look check out books. I was passing the cart of books to be shelved and there on top was...

It all made sense! So I checked it out and E was so excited to take the book home with her. We read it about 5 times a day!  It's a really cute book, I would recommend checking it out.

Lucy at 9 months

Sweet Lucy is 9 months old already. It's hard to believe she is this old. Her early months are still so fresh in my mind! She maybe has scarred me a little from wanting to go through the newborn stage again with another ,but I sure do love my sweet Lucy girl. 9 months is such a fun age. This list is more for my memory/record (probably very boring for you reading this) but at 9 months she:

* Crawls (fast)
* Pulls herself up but not quite crusing yet.
* Loves to feed herself
* Miralax is her best friend!
* Eats everything (I am amazed at what I find in her diapers)
* Doesn't like anyone she doesn't really know holding her.
* LOVES when Alex gets home from work. She keeps her eye on him and is just so happy!
* Still nice and chunky- weighing in around 23/24 lbs
* Is a champ at going to sleep own her own but still loves to get up several times at night. (maybe that is why her newborn months are so fresh in my mind, we are still living them!)
* Still only 2 teeth but thinking I can feel two more coming in on top
*waves and claps
*hates anything on her head- bows, headbands, hats, etc. : (
* E and Darcy are her best playmates (poor Darcy!)

See the drool? She can soak through her clothes in about two seconds!

She had enough of the bows and sticker!

Just for fun. Here is Lucy and E at 9 months old...
