Beautiful Day

Today was beautiful. We spend a good chunk of the afternoon in the backyard fishing leaves out of Lucy's mouth playing. 

I ran into get my camera and when I came back out, this is what I found....

I thought to myself, what is she trying to do?

 then realized....

 Oh, of course, she spotted a cherrio!

Tried to get a pic of the girls but getting them both to smile at the same time is kinda hard....

 not quite...

 almost...

 good as we're gonna get...

 so happy to be crawling...

 Moved the sandbox to the top of the hill- much better spot where it will get tons more use!

happenings

Lucy girl turned 8 months....

Lucy outgrew her car seat so we had to do some switching around and get a new one for E.

The box has been the source of hours of fun for the girls.

Lucy crawled one crawl (how else do you describe that?). She got her big belly off the ground, got up on her knees and moved a little! 

 E was trying hard to motivate Lucy to crawl to her...

 All this cheering on usually leaves us with a frustrated little girl making a face like this...

We have lots of school buses that go through our neighborhood and also a big black spider that has made it's web outside the house. E spends lots of time looking out this window.

 Yay for dressing the girls alike!
