Catching Up....

 E writing out some Valentines

This girl is a chronic teeth brusher. Loves it and does it too many times during the day.

These two have been so silly with each other lately.

Lucy is into everything thing these days. Especially fruit and water. Luckily painting with water helped control that a little.

E finally got her lava lamp she'd been dreaming of!

We took the girls to Eat n'Park one night for FHE.
E gets so excited when she gets to go to a "real resturant with a real menu"

Lucy loved the smiley cookie and especially the icing.
She was trying all kinds of tricks to get it off the cookie!

Elsa was happy to bring back "snowy" the snowman
and Lucy was happy to eat lots of ice!

Cori came to visit and the girls loved every minute of it. They spent a long time giving her a pretend hair cut!

GG took us all to the zoo. It was fun seeing the scuba divers in the big tanks.

Lucy now knows how to get in her crib and thinks she is pretty clever for doing so (must say, I am surprised she didnt figure this out earlier)

You never know what you will catch Elsa doing....

One Sunday evening, Alex was playing videos on his phone. Lion King came one and E went right to dancing. She is really good at that interpretative/lyrical dancing. Love her arm movement and facial expressions! Lucy makes a little entrance in the middle as she puts both legs into one pant hole!

Lucy Girl

Today I am grateful for my Lucy. She is funny, busy, a risk taker, and so sweet. She gives the best "squeeze" hugs and is always getting into things. She loves shoes, bags, hats and of course her big sister.

It's hard to believe that this was her, not so long ago.

She has been saying a specific word/sound the last few days and then it finally clicked. She was saying Elsa. It's pretty cute, especially when she yells it.

Books

This is a day late, but I am grateful for books. I love that both my girls love to read.

Blue Hat Green Hat used to make E laugh when she was a baby. Now Lucy laughs and laughs when it is read to her, and especially when E is the storyteller!

Some books we are loving at the moment,

I cannot wait to read the Little House series with E but she is still a little too young. I found these gems at the library and we check out a couple each time we go. They are perfect!
We also read our first Amelia Bedelia book. It is still a little over her head but E can still catch a lot of the silliness and loves it.

As for Lucy girl, She loves any books with flaps or Elmo. And of course she can never get enough Blue Hat, Green Hat

October So Far

The Lego table is a success. Both kids like it and Lucy is finally phasing out of her "eating everything" stage. (hooray)

We have had lots of rain and the girls wanted to play in it...

Elsa literally singing in the rain!

 They got plenty dirty

and we all paid for it when Lucy got a nasty rash that no doctor could figure out what exaxtly it was.

The girls had so much fun hiding in these empty bins...

 Lucy doing some pre-play stretching

 She loves socks.

She must be good luck because the Steelers had their second win!  (couldn't get any pictures without her hands all over her face)
