5 years!

Happy Anniversary to the greatest hubs around! 

In celebration we went out a day early to this place-

Grand Concourse

We ate in this room with a waterfront/city view

I had delicious surf and turf and Alex had very tasty dungeness crab

 

 and then this for dessert

Grams was SO incredibly nice to watch E for us. We went later in the evening so I could try to get E to bed before we left because these days Elsa has totally regressed in her sleeping habits. It takes a good hour or two to get her to sleep. Sometimes she cries but most of the time and will just play and play and play in her crib until I finally go settle her down to sleep. Looks like round 2 of sleep training is in the near future-any better suggestions anyone??

Well, we came home 3 hours later and there was E, sitting on Gram's lap, happy as can be, watching some HGTV. She only stayed asleep long enough for us to pull out of the driveway....the little stinker!

Family Conversation- 1:30 A.M.

Alex-> Jody: "Look at our little baby, can you believe we made her?"
Jody-> Alex: (1/2 nod, 1/2 tired grunt)
Alex-> Jody: "It's hard to believe she's finally here and that she's so perfect..."
Jody-> Alex: (1/2 nod, 1/2 tired grunt)
Alex-> Jody: "Haha woulda been funny if she farted right after I said that, huh?"
Jody-> Alex: "ha, yeah"
Elsa-> Alex + Jody: "bwwwpopoomp"
Alex + Jody-> Elsa: "hahahahahaha"
