Winner!

Look at this cute coin purse that I won a blog giveaway by OMGMom!

As she said in this post, I now have a place for all the change that is always on the bottom of my diaper bag. What a fun first blog giveaway win!

Look alikes

Our screensaver is a slideshow of all the pictures we have on our hard drive. This picture was on it when I came into the room  and I totally had to do a double take. Don't you think Elsa totally looks like Alex in the picture? He is even sporting the arm rolls that E has now!

Alex- a little over a year old

week 47

Yesterday I learned that I now have to keep the bathroom door shut at all times because she likes to go in there and flush the toilet. I was quite surprised when I was in there brushing my teeth and she crawled over and did it.   I am hoping this was just a one day thing and that she will have forgotten about it today. She has always liked to take things out of their containers and toss them everywhere and her new container of choice is the laundry basket....

Elsa now refuses to wear her bib and she likes to have her own spoon and something else in her other hand. Most meals look like this....

E stripped down

because she ends up wearing most of her food

Then she keeps Laddie company while he searches for any leftovers!

Quiet book progress!

I am about 1/3 of the way done, yay! I have completed the first 9 pages. Some letters are skipped (like G) cause I am still brainstorming how I want to do those and I still have a few things I need to tweak on these pages. For a beginning sewer, I am pretty happy with how they are turning out. Here is a little preview of the progress made.

Week 46 and a birthday shout out!

Elsa's new thing....not sure what she is trying to do but she's pretty cute doing it!

Grams would stretch and touch her head and then her toes and Elsa would do the same. After that, we kept catching her randomly putting her hands behind her head.

We also wanted to wish
Aunt Sally
a
VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
We heard you were hard at work today but we hope you get to have some fun too!!! XOXO

The best part of breakfast this morning...

Sharing her food with Laddie, who until E came along, never got table food!
(and really, it's  more like the best part of all her meals)

Week 44

Elsa's hair is definitely getting more thick and curly

Elsa is becoming a pro at cruising around, she will go up and down the side of the bed. It's pretty crazy to think she will be walking soon.

Sorry this is sideways-whoops. And that awful sound is the baby monior, for some reason E likes it.

Some old pics from the ward Memorial Day picnic....
Elsa, Lila, and Claire
Lila was born 10 days after E and Hannah Claire was born 10 days after Lila
As May said, those cups were a hot commodity with those girls!

4th of July Weekend- Elsa style

E's weekend in Huntingdon consisted mostly of hanging out with the Grandparents, swimming, playing with kittens, and not ever wanting to go to sleep- I guess there was just too much excitement going on!

of course she climbed out of the pool to crawl in the crunchy hard grass

week 43

We spent the afternoon at "the blue slide park."  All E did was stare at the older kids running around (and try to eat dirt) so I could hardly get a picture of her even looking in my direction. She was fascinated by all the kids running, jumping, and climbing. She really wanted to crawl after them but quickly learned that crawling on gravel is not so fun. So we packed up and hit the Squirrel Hill Library where she could crawl and play in the kid area with some other babies her age. She loved it.
