End of Summer catch up

This post is a little of everything. The last pictures of summer.

(Be sure to check out the other 2 new posts after this one)

Love this of the girls reading together in Lucy's crib.

E drew this for me. I love my side pony!

Lucy is my crazy fearless child. She is full of energy and is very good at watching others to figure out how to do things. She has always been a climber. I have had to put many things down in the basement to keep her from climbing them and getting hurt. This day though, she decided to climb the big dining room chairs. She was sitting on one so I went around to put the others up on the table. I was coming to put up the chair she was in when she stood up, leaned over the back end, and the whole chair tipped. She busted her lip and gums pretty bad. There was lots of blood, bumps, and she was swollen for a little bit. And no, this did not teach her to not climb. We had to continue putting all the chairs on the table.

Loving Lucy's hair in piggy tails.

E cheesing it up for the camera.

We had another good day to play in the water.

Lucy girl looking for her belly

One morning, I had turned on The Today Show. One Direction was preforming and E got all excited.  I totally snuck in and caught her on tape. She had all kinds of fun dancing and singing to the music.  It was pretty funny. I guess she is a "Directioner" at the age of 4.

My favorite part is at the end where she totally tries to copy the guys jumping to the beat of the drum and then cheering with the crowd. Too funny.

Darcy

Darcy is such a good cat.
She can be crazy, but that is small price to pay for all she puts up with from the girls.

Lucy can't just play by Darcy, she has to put her toys on top of her.

When Lucy was sick and I would check her temperature, she just had to do the same to Darcy.

She's not exactly gentle about "snuggling" with her.

But then again, E isn't always so gentle either...

I start to feel really bad for Darcy and all the craziness she puts up with. But then she does this and I don't feel so bad anymore.

I am not of fan of the surprises she leaves for us at the door step

Elsa May turns 4!

E had her 4th birthday and had a wonderful birthday. Her birthday this year was on a Sunday, which was perfect since Alex would be home and it was church day, so she would get to go to primary, her favorite!

Before church, we let E open a present. She had been asking for an Aurora doll in all the time and in her prayers and was super excited that she got it.

 Alex playing dolls with E.

Everyone came over that evening for dinner, cake, and presents.

We got her a playmobil set. She plays with some over at Northumberland, so I knew she would love her own.
I made E a Lego table. It still needs a few things but I think she will like this for years to come.

3 dresses for the girl that will only wear dresses that twirl well!

Alex got her a geode to break open and add to her rock collection.

She was so happy to get her very own copy of Creepy Carrots.
So funny how much she loves that book!

Lucy the bag lady. She cleaned up all the wrapping paper and then carried the bags around all night.

 Cake time

 Happy Happy Birthday Elsa May!
