We finally figured out how to get our videos from the camcorder onto our computer. Here are a couple of E. Probably kinda boring for most of you but figured the grandparents would enjoy them.
Making new sounds at the dinner table. Of course she really started to do it once we stopped recording!
Using her "soprano voice" as Grams calls it

Week 21- visit to Primanti Bros.

When we lived in SLC and first started to visit Alex's family in Pittsburgh, my dad asked if we had ever eaten any of the "almost famous" sandwiches at Primanti Brothers. We would always answer that we were totally going to go and try it. Well, a few years later along with a move to Pittsburgh, we finally went. This place has been featured on Man vs. Food, the Travel Channel, and even in National Geographic. We got their best seller, the steak and cheese, which like all their sandwiches is topped with lots of coleslaw, fries, and tomatoes. It was a monster of a sandwich to say the least. I think E really enjoyed herself!

Bumbo
We found E a Bumbo on Craigslist for pretty cheap. She was pretty funny the first time we sat her in it, but think once she gets the hang of it she will really love it!

Sleeping Beauty
We have been sleep training E for the past week or so. The first few nights were full of crying but it got better and better each night. Alex was kind enough to take the burden of listening to it while I hid in the basement pretending all was well upstairs! But in the end, it was totally worth it. She has finally slept through the night and most nights only gets up to eat once. Her naps are even better too, (if my parents are reading this, I am sure they are shocked to see that she is napping and for more than 20 minutes-remember what Christmas was like, right?!?)
Most times she goes down with a little fussing and sometimes she will play and talk to herself before falling sleep. This is a picture of what we found when we checked on her after about 15 minutes of playing and talking. She has recently discovered how fun her feet are so take notice to where her sock is!

Week 20
E in the big blue chair
We were trying to get a video of Elsa rolling but it just turned out to be a cute video of her smiling at the camera!
This is Elsa rolling with a bit of help from Dad, but she gets all the credit getting her arm out which sometimes is the hardest part!

4 month stats
Elsa had her first appointment with her new Pediatrician here in Pittsburgh. She was such a good baby for the doctor and did great with her shots. She received lots of compliments on what a cute little girl she is (which was nice, considering I have had 3 people in the last 2 days think she was a boy!) Here are her 4 month stats along with a just for fun video of her trying to roll.
Weight: 14 lbs 10 oz (61%)
Length: 25 inches (66%)
Head : 44 cm (97%)

Week 19- Elsa and her Exersaucer
This is how a typical play session goes when E plays in her Exersaucer...
Oh all the toys!
First I suck and chew...
and lick everything!
I find my new favorite, the noise maker and give it a spin.
This is just too much fun!
Then I stare at the butterfly...for a long time ( she literally stares like she is trying to figure out how it works!)
Of course, Mom interrupts my fun to pull my arm out and I get frustrated.
So I tuck my arm in and I am back in business!
Yawn! All this play is exhausting.
I just need a quick rest....
or maybe a long nap!
