* She is still not that into eating. The doctor was a little concerned with the fact that she gags and throws up so much. Especially since solids will soon be the primary source of E's nutrition. She thinks it might be reflux- the pedi in SLC thought this when E was just weeks old so maybe there is something there. We will try some reflux drops and see if it helps her and go back to see Dr. V in a month.
* She might not be eating food, but she still puts everything in her mouth-grass, crumbs, toys- you name it and it's been in her mouth so we have to keep a close eye on her!
trying to eat her band-aid at the doctors today-she got it in her mouth so fast, I had to quickly fish it out before she swallowed it!
* What I love about E being 9 months--- she is sleeping through the night-YAY! But getting her to sleep is still pretty bad. We are stuck in the same cycle of sleeping for an hour, waking up, crying a lot, barfing, getting cleaned up and THEN sleeping all night. Until we get this reflux stuff a try, the doc says to not let her get so worked up and try going in every 5 minutes to sooth her. This will be interesting!
I found her half undressed after her nap the other day
* E is now all over the place. She's not quite up on her knees crawling but she has the army crawl down pat and gets everywhere plenty quick. She can now get from laying down to sitting and visa versa really fast. She loves to be under the furniture and her newest place to explore is Grams' room-she goes straight for the scale!
* E is still our little gymnast/yoga baby- using her feet to hold toys and even her bottle! She is blowing raspberries like crazy, still obsessed with Laddie, though he has learned to get away as soon as he sees her coming, and is now pulling herself up to a standing position-especially in her crib. The other day she was standing in her crib looking out the window at Grams working in the garden.
* Her newest trick is waving. She has started waving to other when they say bye-bye and she never fails to impress them- it is pretty dang cute!
* I think she will be a water baby. She loves moving all over the bathtub kicking and splashing. She doesn't seem to mind the water in her face and eyes. A baby pool is on our shopping list this week.
wow, this is a really long post and enough for now....videos of Miss E to come soon!
