We took a trip to Idlewild a few weeks back with Alex's family. They had reserved some really cute cottages right by the park for us to stay at for 2 nights. E was so excited to swim and go on rides.
Pile up on Alex who was trying to sleep
When we first got to the park, E wanted to go on everything. I knew this wouldn't last long since she isn't the most daring child. We passed by the Loggin Toboggan and she said she wanted to go on it. We decied to keep walking but she was pretty insistent on it. So we went back Alex rode with her. She loved it. I just had to do some close ups of her facial expressions...

Lucy loved the waterfall
It was Italian Day at the park so there was lots of yummy food and music
At one point, the kids plus Alex, Julia, & Joe went into the huge ball pit and it started to pour.
It was the perfect place to hang out while we waited out the downpour.
Looking for Alex
Thought this one was funny- all you can see is the top of Alex's face.
throwing balls at Julia
The girls loved this area.
We headed to Storybook Forest.
How many DiPietro/de Poixs can you fit in the small train car?
E inside the three Pigs house
Sword in the Stone
Despite the rain, we went to the SplashZone for a bit.
Of course, Lucy drank her fair share of pool water (am I really surprised she got the Rosela virus after this trip?!?)
After some time in drinking the water, Lucy was determined to pull the big wagon full of our stuff
She did pretty well.
Bumper cars was not such a success- She thought the kids were just being mean when they would bump in to her. It was kinda sad but pretty funny!
After all the rides, E jumped all over the place saying " This is SOOOO much fuuuun"
I had to include some of the photos of Joe, Julia, and Andrew. There were about 50 pretty funny ones that I got a good laugh at when I got my camera back.
figured, I should be a good sport and throw one in of me and E being silly.
Sweet Lucy with her milk face.
Not sure why E looks so concerned!
This is when Lucy got her second wind and was being a crazy girl. She was running down the hill and having all sorts of fun.
Thanks to her second wind, we were able to stay for the firework show and lots of fun music.

I can't imagine a creepier person to have hiding in a children's ball pit than Beegs.
How awesome! I may have to check out this Idlewild! I am glad you posted a picture of yourself. I was going to give you grief about it if you hadn't. Fun trip!
