Zoo trip

It was Grandpa Pease's birthday last Monday and to celebrate, he, Grandma, & Uncle Royce paid us a visit.

We made a trip to the zoo, got ice cream, played in the backyard, and topped off the night with some delicious Chinese food.

Lucy's little pointer finger must of been tired by the end of the day, she pointed at everything.

Lucy especially loved the Kangaroos. I think it was because you go into their enclosure, so you can get really close.

We stopped at the playground to let the girls run around. Lucy can only sit in her stroller for very short periods of time so this playground was heaven sent!
E went into the mole tunnels that twist and turn. There is one way in and one way out. Lucy, being as fast as she is, dashed right in. It was a bit of a nightmare. Of course she loved every minute of it, where as I was so worried about getting her out. E was a super sister and helped me get her out.

Lucy loved the smaller play area. She went down the dinosaur slide a bunch of times.

But her all time favorite thing was this see-saw. She would try and make it go as fast as she could.

She was actually pretty interested in the snakes. E on the other hand was not. She went straight to the meerkats which she keeps saying was her favorite (sadly no pictures)

We had to keep an eye on her in the petting area...she wanted to treat the animals like she does Darcy!

This cute sea lion kept coming back to the window and looking back at all the kids. E thought that was great!

E was pretty excited to see real sharks. They didn't disappoint.

She was pretty amazed at all their teeth.

On our way out of the zoo, E rode the carousel with Grandpa. She kept yelling, "I'm Flying" everytime she would go around. It was really really cute.

It was a fun way to end the trip!

Had to add this picture of Lucy, who took her first "selfie"
