The things she says-part 1

I could write pages of all the funny things this girl says and does.

Here are a few things I wanted to be sure to record to remember....

*In the car:
E: Mom, Lucy is happy
Me: I'm glad, I'm happy too
E: Me three

*She has quite the imagination & I love it...
We spent the day playing imaginary baseball, hopscotch, and I got a tour of all the animals in our living room zoo. I even got to go into the cages with the tigers, lions, zebras, sharks. She made sure I got out of the shark cage fast cause they give "owies".

*E had to wear Alex's hat out on our errands

*Elsa & I were coloring together. I wrote her name out across her paper in cursive and she responded with. Oh mom nice loopty loops!

*She thinks any church is a temple. The other day on the way to Northumberland, she pointed one out. Alex told her it was a synagogue, so now we see those everywhere and I occasionally  hear here just walking around the house saying Synagogue!

*We were reading a book about animals. We were going back and forth naming the animal and saying what the animal said. She got to Donkey and said the donkey says "donk donk"

*When Elsa gets worked up, I usually tell her to calm down and take a deep breath. So the other day, I guess I was frustrated at something and she said " Mom, calm down, breathe"  That sure eased the frustration!

*In the car, Alex was teasing me and E yells with her hand straight out and very serious
 "dad be nice"

*We went to GG's graduation at CMU and we were pointing out all the graduates in thier cap and gowns. She misheard us and thought we said clowns. So the whole day she was convinced that they were all clowns. Hopefully no one took that too personally!

*E went  potty a little bit before we were planning on leaving but I asked again right before we left.
Me: Elsa do you need to use the potty again before we leave?
E: No mommy, my bum bum is empty.

*This last one is especially for GG and Uncle Joe...
E decided to sort all her hair bands by color (which by the way kept her busy for a long time)
Me: Good work Elsa
E: Thank you and mommy, Coe says strong work!
