This is kinda a random post. But maybe there is someone out there that also hates cilantro that enjoy this little clip!
I was at a baby shower where we were making up freezer meals. One of the recipes called for cilantro. I definitely didn't volunteer for the job of chopping it. The girls at the shower thought it was pretty amusing/surprising how much I disliked it. Everything about it is just totally icky to me.

I then randomly came across this video and now it all makes sense...
Also, for all those moms out there, what do you feed your picky eater? Elsa is a hard one to feed. She rather me just help her eat pureed baby food than anything else. She did eat a whole hot dog the other day but I really rather not have her eating hot dogs every day!
Lunch is starting to become a battle everyday and so I thought maybe someone out there has some good healthy ideas that their toddlers like that I haven't tried or thought of yet. Please share!

It really is this age, I think. I say, take what you can get. JM doesn't like cooked veggies so he usually gets a serving of raw carrots or will even eat salad. I bought Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld a while back. I've been able to sneak veggies into certain foods but it really is a lot of work, that I don't necessarily have at the moment. She has lots of good ideas, though.
Part of it is that she doesn't have a lot of teeth. only two of her molars have come in. I am sure it's hard to eat a lot things when you don't have teeth! She loves veggies and all, just pureed, so that's how I give them to her! She doesn't like to try new foods out even when I think she would like them.
I am with Jocelyn...it is probably an age thing. Both of my kids did the same thing about the same time and I couldn't figure it out. Then all of the sudden they became eaters.
I always found that when they ate what we were eating it was better and they were more willing.
What? You're a cilantro hater? Not sure if we can be friends anymore.
No help on the food problem, sorry.
